This is trivial to accomplish if you only need to support specific browsers, but there are differences between f.ex. I have downloaded the plugin and added that to my xml. Easiest way is probably to add a onmousemove event listener to the canvas element, and then you can get the coordinates relative to the canvas from the event itself. Looks like this thread is a bit old but better late than never. ![]() I am trying to use kolor ptp to achieve a mouse xy location reference by clicking anywhere on the pano to get the exact location to place a hotspot goto button etc. In this post, we will demonstrate the way for tracking a. ![]() I looked at Raycasting but I’m not entirely sure if that is the path I should follow.I do not know if I have done this right. These properties find out where the users mouse lies in the x and y coordinates of the browser window. The JavaScript script presented in this page can be used to Get Mouse coordinates inside a HTML element, usually a Div or an Image. I’m not focusing on mouse events against children in the scene (a new design would have no children anyway), only the (theoretical infinite +X and -Y) coordinates in the scene where the mouse is hovering/clicked. I have tried several different examples to get the +X and -Y position of the mouse (with respect to the origin of the scene) as 3D coordinates and not 2D DOM coordinates since some design elements would have a position X,Y (CSS top, left) greater than the current view-port of the device they were on. This way my end users would not have to re-learn or re-design their projects that were based on the 0,0 index always being in the top-left, rather than the center. pageX and event.pageY in combination with the jQuery offset() method to get the position of mouse pointer relative to an element. Then I would just multiply the -Y by -1 to get a +Y and divide +X and +Y by 12 and floor each to get the corresponding cell index as if it were still an HTML table. My goal is to confine designs to the 4th quadrant (+X,-Y). Use, then, the functions in nodes to obtain the mouse coordinates and viewport size, for example. The “table” is drawn as a series of THREE.Lines spaced 12 points apart from one another. Calling JavaScript from script Environment variables. In picture below, the camera and orbit controls are shifted so that the origin (0,0,0 ) is in the top-left (DOM style), rather than the center. Some designs have hundreds, if not a thousand individual 12x12 pixel elements all being rendered at the same time. In the other application that used these designs, the table was not rendered which helped increase performance but still took its toll on mobile devices when the designs became very large (sometimes extending folds beyond the view-port). The table was only used for position referencing. Show mouse position on hover with pixel and latitude and longitude coordinates. I’m re-writing an existing application where a user would click cells in an HTML table and place predefined design items in them and then save that design to be used in another application. 1/27/2024 0 Comments Using a plumb bob wheel spacersPlaning the mahogany to make the levels and declivity sticks was how I was taught how to use bench planes I could go into the way they where tested when I thought they were finished but you may not believe it. In the plumb maths would come into play, if the declivity was say 50m/m and you wanted to plumb something up that was say 10 MTRS tall you would have to set the plumb bob up 500m/m away from the object. I must say I never set a boat or ship up using a declivity stick that's a job for Dumphy levels, theodolites and sight boards, the stick was usually used foe beds for machine, you can also see in the guys link that declivity is not only allowed for in the level but also in the plumb. I didn`t fancy explaining what a declivity stick is so I went looking on google and found a guy doing a very good job of explaining it, check the link. For those who want to center both the front and the rear subframes to the body panels/fenders - you hang a plumb bob from fenders, loosen all the bolts and measure to the plum bobs. The level has a adjustable foot on one end and can be raised up to 150 m/m to measure the incline over the full length of the level we used to do the same thing but use a declivity stick. What really drew my attention was the level at the top of the page of tools in Andy`s first post, I thought it would be interesting to some but maybe not to all. Wolfgang Jordan Has really made a great job of his site and is a credit to any one studding a subject. Sorry Andy I carn`t add any thing to the plate on the plumb line, never really came across it.
